The prototype ship – a challenge that NIT is ready to take. We concentrated on the work and made inspiring restaurants with handsome domed ceilings, high tech lighting solutions and a sushi bar with special tables which can be heated. It might not have been easy, but what a journey it turned out to be with a total of 7 Mein Schiff vessels.
Mein Schiff 3 was a remarkable project as it started the long series of Mein Schiff vessels that were built in the Turku shipyard. NIT has been delivering great spaces for all of them of course. NIT’s scope included 5600 m2 of public areas, restaurants and bars, as well as crew staircases and facilities. This first vessel was a great start for the long collaboration between Turku shipyard, TUI Cruises and NIT professionals and network.
