Crew areas hold a crucial role for the whole vessel. Facilities must be functional and also provide the crew comfortable places to relax. These areas often include many technical installations that also must be reliable.
NIT delivered 10 000 m2 of crew areas with over 20 staircases, and other facilities like crew breakroom, offices, boarding and luggage area for Star of the Seas. NIT’s turnkey scope also included the amazing venue, Royal Promenade with 7 000 m2 of restaurants, cafés and bars, retails and customer service areas.
Star of the Seas was delivered from Meyer Turku in 2025 and is the second vessel of the Icon-class.
