NIT finished the Royal Promenade and Crew areas on Star of the Seas for Meyer Turku, and the amazing vessel was delivered to the customer Royal Caribbean on 10th of July 2025.
NIT built the great venue, Royal Promenade, with 7 000 m2 of restaurants, cafés and bars, retails and customer service areas. The project of Promenade was demanding for its larger scope than on the previous vessel and with a tighter schedule, but the delivery of public areas was successful.

Furthermore, over 10 000 m2 of crew areas with 20 staircases and other facilities like crew breakroom, offices, boarding and luggage area, was built. NIT teams worked with the target of customer satisfaction, regardless of the challenging project.

Star of the Seas is the second Icon-class vessel and built in Meyer Turku for Royal Caribbean International. With 250 800 GT and 365 meters length, she is one of the world’s largest cruise vessels, accommodating over 7600 passengers.
Third ship, Legend of the Seas will follow in 2026 and is at the moment taking shape on the dry dock. NIT has same areas of Promenade and Crew on this vessel as well, with some architectural changes.
