NIT Naval Interior Team publishes the second Sustainability Report, covering the reporting period of 2023-2024. The report was made with reference to GRI standards, and with a new workshop team of key persons from all departments.
Sustainability report covers all three aspects of sustainability: Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
Environmental actions are happening, even if some of them in small steps. The development of Carbon Footprint Calculation is a concrete example of taking action and raising awareness of environmental impact.
NIT’s team has been expanding in the number of NIT personnel and also in partners and subcontractors. Social responsibility plays a remarkable role, and NIT is committed to ensuring a healthy and safe work environment for all persons.
Transparency stays as the basis for good governance. With regular reporting, monitoring and a clear process for materiality analysis of sustainability impacts, transparency is enhanced.
Continuous development of sustainability matters is highlighted. NIT strives for improvement and collaborating with all stakeholders of the industry. Sustainability work is about agreed targets, monitoring, and working together to reach goals.
Managing Director Sebastian Lagerlöf raises the importance of cooperation in order to make an impact: “I believe that change happens through actions and collaboration. This is why it is essential to raise the matter of sustainability, talk about it often, and to set goals for it. Most importantly – to take action together.”
“Thanks to all stakeholders of the industry and to our employees and partners that have contributed to this positive development. Let us all continue on the sustainable course together,” Sebastian says.
